The Sunsail 44i is a high-performance cruising yacht built for comfort and designed for those looking for a fun week of sailing, true to our strategy of offering comfortable blue-water yachts that combine excellent equipment and great performance.

Jeanneau’s insistence on high-quality fittings and the delivery of interior volume without sacrificing performance perfectly matches Sunsail’s brief. A strong commitment to environmental protection is also key, with Jeanneau’s Prisma Process injection molding resulting in a 90% reduction in harmful emissions.

The 44i’s large cockpit features a spacious dining area with large folding table and storage. Twin helm steering keeps the cockpit open, with easy access to the aft transom while moored. The winches are located near the helms, for easy sail handling by a reduced crew. A large sail area offers great performance, while a powerful bow thruster offers the ultimate in maneuverability!

Inside, the contemporary interior features a spacious salon with table convertible to double berth and fully equipped galley. Opening hatches, ports and long salon windows allow for plenty of light and ventilation. The stunning new Sunsail 44i is available in a 3 cabin 3 head layout, or a 4 cabin, 2 head version with additional convertible forward bunks, ideal for crew or kids.

Windscoops let the breeze lull you to sleep!

I was just in Tortola this past July on a Lagoon 410 Catamaran. We spent 2 nights at the Sunsail Marina and I was very pleased with the ease and performance of the "Breeze Booster" Windscoop. This device is easily mounted on the hatch and helps to circulate air into the cabin. While out at sea I used the windscoop with the electric fan and one night I even had to use my blanket! This is a standard feature on all Sunsail charters.

You'll find plenty of room for up to eight people on the stable Sunsail Lagoon 380 with four cabins and a head and shower in each hull. The salon is kept cool by vertical windows giving you a fantastic, panoramic view. The galley faces aft, and as the deck and salon are on one level, this makes it easy for your galley crew to serve direct to the table in the cockpit.
